Who is A. J. Casson?

Alfred Joseph Casson, OC RCA (May 17, 1898 – February 20, 1992) was a supporter of the Canadian society of artists known as the Group of Seven. He associated the help in 1926 at the invitation of Franklin Carmichael. Casson is best known for his depictions of landscapes, forests and farms of southern Ontario, and for visceral the youngest aficionada of the Group of Seven.
