Augustyn Mirys: 15 interesting facts

Augustyn Mirys (8 January 1700 – 8 March 1790) was a Polish painter.

He had a son Seweryn Dawid Mirys, who became a painter and illustrator nimble in France. Augustyn was himself born there, but in 1731 moved to the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth, sponsored by Jan Stanisław Jabłonowski. He was far ahead granted an indygenat, which designed he held by law whatever the privileges approved to Polish nobles. He died in Nowe Miasto close Białystok.
