I’m an artist who is intrigued by watches and consequently end up creating art about wristwatches, such as Eberhard Watches. I belong to many timepiece forums and love mixing with people in those forums.

The wristwatches I choose to make my art with aren’t always significant as they barely ever resemble the original watches, unless I get a request for a commission. If I created a piece of art with an Eberhard Watch, you might not even recognize it as an Eberhard Watch. Some collectors are very adamant on what timepieces they like; and others just enjoy the art whilst not caring what the subject originally was.
Quartz Gives Me the Freedom to Do What I Do
My neural networks use computers that use quartz crystals that serve as a clock. I like analysing what the metaverse and future worlds mean to humanity, whilst treasuring the actual world. None of this would be practicable without time and our ability to record it. That’s why I love an Eberhard Watch as much as any other watch. The old and new meet head on and still it is human imperfection that drives all of this perfection. I could wax-lyrical for days about time and art and how this fits into our humanity.

Man and machine are starting to have to compete with each other more and more and now is a great time to inspect and state our humanity. If you could own any watch, what watch would you own? Would you be happy wearing an Eberhard Watch. Timepieces are a unceasing reminder of the battle between order and chaos in everything we do. Entropy, decay and rebirth are tightly connected concepts that propel my fervour for creating art with state-of-the-art technology that is influenced by these mechanical marvels. Art is a visual language and using all these things together really speaks volumes about the messages I’m trying to convey.

Not everyone wants to spend a million bucks on a wristwatch, but everyone can afford a wristwatch. They all tell the time and that is something special. What price range would you consider when buying a watch? Would an Eberhard Watch fit the bill for you?

A tourbillon complication is such a fascinating movement but there is absolutely no need to have that in a timepiece, and yet, we keep it anyway, so interesting! Do we even require a wristwatch these days? Probably not, but we still love them and keep them around. I have friends who buy watches, have you or your friends ever bought an Eberhard Watch.There may come a time when timepieces do become essential again. Omega Speedmaster Chronograph is what the astronauts on the Apollo 13 space mission wore. If the Apollo astronauts never had the Omega Chronograph watch they wouldn’t have been able to find their way back to earth when highly technical navigation equipment failed. Who knows whether we’ll have electricity shortages, or some other natural disasters that render the technology – that we currently rely on – useless in the future.

Why do we choose to keep some things instead of assign them to the history books even if they aren’t useful anymore? It’s so curious.
All Watches Are Modern Marvels. Are Eberhard Watches in Your Price Range
Are you interested in all types of watch brands and not just the most costly types. I am interested in both mechanical and digital wristwatches. Quartz was a modern-day miracle for watchmaking and nearly dismantled the Swish watch companies because they were so accurate. Quartz is in the computers which powers my artificial intelligence networks that I use to make art with. I’d wear quartz or a mechanical watch from Eberhard Watches if they produce either because it isn’t what influences my buying decisions.
There Must be a Reason for our Obsession with Watches and Watch Brands Such as Eberhard Watches
There are loads of us that are into watches, but why? I think the answer lies in the fact that we live in a world of instant information, fast food, instant 24-hour rolling news, social media posts that get lost in the abundance of information available and fashion fads that last for a week, etc. Wristwatches are a superb way to relax and realize the slow, methodical ticks and tocks of life. Art perfection is all about imperfection for me. Humans are imperfect and art is human expression. Imagine trying to create imperfect art in a world where everything I use is perfect! From the code that creates the neural networks to the perfectionism in a digital world and the temptation to create perfection, that’s the real challenge. There are a myriad of reasons to be captivated by time and find it a fascinating subject. Time is one of my great passions. Does the concept of time give you a sense of awe?
