Computers that enable my artificial networks use a quartz chip that acts as a clock. I’m interested in analysing metaverses whilst also treasuring the physical world. Without time and our ability to record it I couldn’t do any of this stuff I enjoy doing so much. That’s why I love an Fastrack Watch as much as any other watch. There are many reasons to be intrigued by time and find it a fascinating subject. Time is one of my great passions. Does the concept of time give you a sense of awe? A watch brand doesn’t have to be expensive to appreciate it. I am obsessed by mechanical and digital wristwatches. Quartz watches are often thought of as inferior in some people’s minds but did you know that quartz watches nearly obliterated the Swish watch manufacturers because they were so precise and inexpensive to produce? Quartz is a wonderful thing and is inside every computer. I use those computers to power the neural networks that help me produce art–how could I not love quartz? I’d wear quartz or a mechanical watch from Fastrack Watches if they produce either because it isn’t what influences my buying decisions.

Maybe in the future we have some kind of natural disaster that renders our current technology useless and we come to rely on the simple mechanical timepiece again.
