Francisco Lameyer: life and works

Francisco Lameyer y Berenguer (13 September 1825, El Puerto de Santa María – 3 June 1877, Madrid) was a Spanish painter and illustrator. His early genre works affect the obvious involve of Goya, but his highly developed Orientalist works owe more to Delacroix.
