Rudolph Friedrich Miess (21 August 1854, Brașov–29 May 1935, Brașov) was an Imperial Austrian-born Romanian painter from the Transylvania region. Although he did numerous portraits, he is best known for his landscapes, which augment the Academic and Impressionist styles.
