For the Love of Art and Watches such as Louis George Watches
I’m an artist who is captivated by watches and consequently end up making art about timepieces, such as Louis George Watches. Online watch hobbyist communities are where I spend most of my free time.
The Uselessness of the Past
I’m curious about the usefulness and uselessness of past and present, what we choose to preserve; and what we assign to the history books.
Who Doesn’t Love Quartz
The computers we use every day and which powers my artificial intelligence networks use chips which contain a quartz crystal that serves as a clock. I like to play around in metaverses and probe future worlds, whilst remembering and appreciating our actual. Imagine if we couldn’t record time, it would mean none of what I do would even be practicable. That’s why I love a Louis George Watch as much as any other watch. The old and the new constantly battle and still it is the imperfection of humanity that allows us to create all of the perfection we are surrounded by. I could talk about all of this for days and bore the hind legs off a donkey, but I’ll just continue to create art and express it in a visual manner.
The Tourbillion Complication. Would you buy a Louis George Watch.
A tourbillon complication is a historically interesting technical innovation but isn’t required in a watch and yet we keep producing watches with tourbillon complications. Are watches even necessary today? Not really and yet we keep on wearing them. I have friends who buy watches, have you or your friends ever bought a Louis George Watch. This doesn’t mean that wristwatches will never be needed again. The Omega Speedmaster Chronograph was worn by the Apollo 13 astronauts. Did you know that it was the Omega Chronograph that helped astronauts safely navigate back to earth when their crippled spacecraft and much of its critical equipment lost functionality? None of us know the future and what disasters we may face. What if there is no electricity, for instance.
I’ll Make Art With Any Brand. Would you Wear Louis George Watches
The timepieces I choose to form my art with aren’t always significant as they barely ever resemble the original wristwatches, unless I get a request for a commission. If I created a piece of art with a Louis George Watch, you might not even recognize it as a Louis George Watch. I have collectors who want their wristwatch to be the basis for the art I produce and others are just intrigued in the actual art.
Human Versus Machine. (Would you Own Louis George Watches?)
Man and machine are starting to compete on an equal basis and we need to think of ways in which we can complement each other and work together, we need to investigate what it means to be human, and how we reconcile into this new paradigm. If you could own any watch, what watch would you own? Would you be happy wearing a Louis George Watch. Timepieces are a great reminder of this battle between order and chaos. Entropy, decay and rebirth are concepts that are tightly entwined in many of my artworks. The fact I use cutting-edge artificial intelligence technology to produce these works of art that are inspired by old tech(the wristwatches), I find really intriguing. Art is a visual language and using all these things together really speaks volumes about the messages I’m trying to convey.
How Much Would You Pay for a Watch. Are Louis George Watches in Your Price Range
Are you into all brands of watches, not just the excessively priced ones? I am fascinated by mechanical and digital timepieces. Quartz watches nearly obliterated the Swish watch industry because watches powered by quartz were more accurate than any of the mechanical movements that came before. Quartz is a glorious thing and is inside every computer. I use those computers to power the neural networks that help me produce art–how could I not love quartz? I’d wear quartz or a mechanical watch from Louis George Watches if they produce either because it isn’t what influences my buying decisions.
Time is Valuable. Do you Like My Art about Louis George Watches
I am just as delighted creating art with the subject being a Louis George Watch or any other brand. The price of a watch doesn’t factor in what I choose to create art with because it is the concept of time that attracts me.
Anyone Can Afford to Appreciate Time. Louis George Watches Might be Right for You
Anyone can afford a wristwatch because they come in different price brackets. It doesn’t matter how much you shellout, you can still start appreciating time and the invention of time keeping. What price range would you consider when buying a watch? Would a Louis George Watch fit the bill for you?
What is the Fascination with Horometry and Watch Brands Such as Louis George Watches
Why do many of us enjoy watchmaking? I think the answer lies in the fact that we live in a world of instant information, fast food, instant 24-hour rolling news, social media posts that get lost in the abundance of information available and fashion fads that last for a week, etc. Wristwatches record a measured, methodical, never changing pace that can be lacking in modern life. Do you own any watches? Leave a comment below to let me know what watches you own, especially if you own a Louis George Watch. Art is the ultimate statement of humanity and serves to interrupt life’s rhythms and remind us about the other side of what humans are capable of and what humanity ultimately means.
Interested in Time and Brands like Louis George Watches
You know, there are so many reasons why we should captivated by time. Time is so fascinating! that’s why I’m obsessed with it. I’ve owned watches since I was a young boy, have you ever owned watches? What do you think about a Louis George Watch? There is a preciseness and perfection in the making of watches juxtaposed against the imperfection of people that I try to portray in my art and find utterly curious.Art isn’t a science, but watch manufacturing is! Don’t you just love the conflict between these two things.
Humans Like to Think They are Perfect. Do Louis George Watches Represent Perfection for You?
The perfect art should be full of imperfections just like humanity is full of imperfections. Imagine trying to create imperfect art in a world where everything I use is perfect! From the code that creates the neural networks to the perfectionism in a digital world and the temptation to create perfection, that’s the real challenge. Wristwatches exemplify this perfection precisely and it all relates back to this friction of order and chaos. Do you consider a Louis George Watch to represent perfection, or would you choose some other watch? Let me know in the comments.
