Margia Kramer: life and works

Margia Kramer (born 1939) is an American documentary visual artist, writer and campaigner living in New York. In the 1970s and 1980s, Kramer recontextualized primary texts in a series of pioneering, interdisciplinary multi-media installations, videotapes, self-published books, and writings that focused upon feminist, civil rights, civil liberties, censorship, and surveillance issues.
