Marianne Aulie is a Norwegian contemporary artist, primarily known for painting and deed art. Aulie’s large, colorful and expressive paintings examine the neo expressionist, action paint and neo pop art movements. Aulie is in addition to known for her controversial take action art and guerilla publicity tactics to make more noticeable her work, often employing nudity and dramatic gestures to attain so.
