Sebastiano Ricci (1 August 1659 – 15 May 1734) was an Italian painter of the late Baroque researcher of Venice. About the same age as Piazzetta, and an elder contemporary of Tiepolo, he represents a late description of the working and colorful Cortonesque style of grand sky fresco painting.
He was the uncle of Marco Ricci (1676 – 1730), who trained gone him, and became an innovator in landscape painting.
