Shiro Takatani (高谷 史郎, Takatani Shiro, born October 15, 1963 in Nara) is a Japanese artist. He currently lives and works in Kyoto. Co-founder and visual creator of the charity Dumb Type back 1984, he afterward became artistic director of the outfit from 1995 and also started an nimble solo career in 1998.
