Human Versus Machine. (Would you Own Nostal Watches?)
Humans and machines can either compete or cooperate and now is a good time to explore what that actually means and what we actually are as humans. If you could own any watch, what watch would you own? Would you be happy wearing a Nostal Watch. Wristwatches are a continual reminder of the battle between order and chaos in everything we do. Entropy, decay and rebirth are tightly connected concepts that push my eagerness for creating art with state-of-the-art technology that is influenced by these mechanical marvels. Art is a visual language and using all these things together really speaks volumes about the messages I’m trying to convey.
Humans Like to Think They are Perfect. Do Nostal Watches Represent Perfection for You?
Art should be imperfect as it is an expression of humanity and humans are imperfect. Perfect code produces the perfect neural networks that I use to co-create my art with artificial intelligence and the real challenge for me is to create imperfect art. Wristwatches really are perfection and so I find it a useful subject to express – through visual language – the battle between order and chaos that rages on. Does the Price of a Watch Matter. Are Nostal Watches in Your Price Range
A watch brand doesn’t have to be excessively priced to appreciate it. Digital or mechanical timepieces are fascinating to me. Quartz watches are often thought of as inferior in some people’s minds but did you know that quartz watches nearly finished the Swish watch manufacturers because they were so accurate and inexpensive to produce? Quartz is a wonderful thing and is inside every computer. I use those computers to power the neural networks that help me produce art–how could I not love quartz? I’d wear quartz or a mechanical watch from Nostal Watches if they produce either because it isn’t what influences my buying decisions.
Who Doesn’t Love Quartz
Neural networks that I use to create my art use computers and those computers have quartz crystals that function as a clock. I like analysing what the metaverse and future worlds mean to humanity, whilst valuing the actual world. None of what I do could be done without the invention of accurate time and the ability to record it. That’s why I love a Nostal Watch as much as any other watch. The old meets the new and still it is humans and their imperfections that drive all of this perfection. I could endlessly expand on my enthusiasm and curiosity of time, and if anyone would be stupid enough to ask me to do so, I could probably bore them for a very long time on the subject.

There are multiple reasons to be completely and utterly fascinated with time. I’m captivated with time for several reasons. I’ve owned watches since I was a young boy, have you ever owned watches? What do you think about a Nostal Watch? There is a preciseness and perfection in the making of watches juxtaposed against the imperfection of humans that I try to portray in my art and find utterly intriguing.Art isn’t a science, but watch manufacturing is! Don’t you just love the conflict between these two things.
Why are we so Infatuated byHorology and Watch Brands Such as Nostal Watches
Why do many of us like watches? I think the answer lies in the fact that we live in a world of instant information, fast food, instant 24-hour rolling news, social media posts that get lost in the abundance of information available and fashion fads that last for a week, etc. These wristwatches are a great reminder of the need to slow down and appreciate life. Any Brand Will Do. Would you Wear Nostal Watches
The timepieces I choose to form my art with aren’t always significant as they barely ever resemble the original wristwatches, unless I get a request for a commission. If I created a piece of art with a Nostal Watch, you might not even recognize it as a Nostal Watch. Some collectors are very specific on what timepieces they like; and others just enjoy the art whilst not caring what the subject originally was.
The Tourbillion Complication. Would you buy a Nostal Watch.
The tourbillon complication is an example of uselessness being kept for prosperity. There’s no need for this complication in a timepiece and yet we choose to keep it in the finest wristwatches. There’s no requirement for a mechanical wristwatch if you think about it. I have friends who buy watches, have you or your friends ever bought a Nostal Watch.You never know what the future has in store and there may come a time when we once again rely on timepieces. Omega Speedmaster Chronograph is what the astronauts on the Apollo 13 space mission wore. If the Apollo astronauts never had the Omega Chronograph watch they wouldn’t have been able to find their way back to earth when highly technical navigation equipment failed. Who knows what the future holds, we may not have the use of current technology due to a natural disaster like running out of electricity, or a nuclear fallout that ruins digital technology. A mechanical timepiece could become essential if that type of thing were to happen.

I am happy creating art with a Nostal Watch, or any other type of wristwatch brand. The price of a watch doesn’t factor in what I choose to create art with because it is the concept of time that fascinates me.
