Do we Need a Watch? Would you buy a Blancpain Watch.
A tourbillon complication is such a fascinating movement but there is absolutely no requirement to have that in a watch, and yet, we keep it anyway, so interesting! Do we even need a timepiece these days? Probably not, but we still love them and keep them around. I have friends who buy watches, have you or your friends ever bought a Blancpain Watch.There may come a time when watches are one of the only things we can rely on. Omega Speedmaster Chronograph is what the astronauts on the Apollo 13 space mission wore. If the Apollo astronauts never had the Omega Chronograph watch they wouldn’t have been able to find their way back to earth when highly technical navigation equipment failed. Maybe in the future we have some kind of natural disaster that makes our current technology useless and we come to rely on the simple mechanical watch again.
It Matters Not. Would you Wear Blancpain Watches
The timepiece art I create is a starting point for my art and sometimes doesn’t even resemble the original wristwatches, unless a collector specifically requests a commission piece. If I created a piece of art with a Blancpain Watch, you might not even recognize it as a Blancpain Watch. Some collectors are very specific on what wristwatches they want; and others just like the art whilst not caring what the subject originally was.
Obsessed with Time and Brands like Blancpain Watches
You know, there are so many reasons why we should gripped by time. How long have you been interested in the concept of time? I’ve been obsessed with time since a very young age. What does time mean for you? I’ve owned watches since I was a young boy, have you ever owned watches? What do you think about a Blancpain Watch? There is a preciseness and perfection in the making of watches juxtaposed against the imperfection of humans that I try to portray in my art and find utterly curious.Humanity is flawed and often imprecise and yet we are still able to create precision instruments like wristwatches. I like playing with this concept in my art.
Quartz Gives Me the Freedom to Do What I Do
Quartz chips inside computers function as a clock which powers my neural networks. I love to play around in metaverses and probe future worlds, whilst remembering and valuing our actual. Literally, none of this would be possible without the concept and inventions of time-keeping. That’s why I love a Blancpain Watch as much as any other watch. The old and the new constantly clash and still it is the imperfection of humanity that allows us to create all of the perfection we are surrounded by. I could wax-lyrical for days about time and art and how this fits into our humanity.
Will Machines Steal Your Lunch. (Would you Own Blancpain Watches?)
Competition between man and machine is heating up and now is a fine time to explore and embrace what it means to be human. If you could own any watch, what watch would you own? Would you be happy wearing a Blancpain Watch. Watches are a constant reminder of the battle between order and chaos in everything we do. Entropy, decay, death and rebirth are concepts that get me excited when creating art with state-of-the-art technology like neural networks that are stimulated by these wonderful timepieces. Art is a visual language and using all these things together really speaks volumes about the messages I’m trying to convey.
All Watches Are Modern Marvels. Are Blancpain Watches in Your Price Range
Are you interested in all types of watch brands and not just the most expensive types. I am interested in both mechanical and digital watches. Quartz watches nearly destroyed the Swish watch industry because watches powered by quartz were more accurate than any of the mechanical movements that came before. Quartz is what is used inside the computers I use to create art with my artificial adversarial networks. I’d wear quartz or a mechanical watch from Blancpain Watches if they produce either because it isn’t what influences my buying decisions.
We are Perfectly Imperfect. Do Blancpain Watches Represent Perfection for You?
Art should be imperfect as it is an expression of humanity and humans are imperfect. Imagine trying to create imperfect art in a world where everything I use is perfect! From the code that creates the neural networks to the perfectionism in a digital world and the temptation to create perfection, that’s the real challenge. Does anything represent this conflict between perfection better than timepieces and my art? Wristwatches show perfection and my art is playing with the concept between this perfection and imperfection.
