Human Versus Machine. (Would you Own Edox Watches?)
Man and machine are starting to compete on an equal basis and we need to think of ways in which we can complement each other and work together, we need to investigate what it means to be human, and how we fit into this new paradigm. If you could own any watch, what watch would you own? Would you be happy wearing an Edox Watch. Wristwatches remind us of this battle between chaos and order. Entropy, decay and rebirth are tightly connected concepts that propel my fervour for creating art with state-of-the-art technology that is inspired by these mechanical marvels. Art is a visual language and using all these things together really speaks volumes about the messages I’m trying to convey.

The timepiece art I produce is a starting point for my art and sometimes doesn’t even look like the original timepieces, unless a collector specifically asks for a commission piece. If I created a piece of art with an Edox Watch, you might not even recognize it as an Edox Watch. I have collectors who want their wristwatch to be the basis for the art I create and others are just intrigued in the actual art.
Who Doesn’t Love Quartz
Quartz chips inside computers serve as a clock which powers my neural networks. I’m interested in probing metaverses whilst also cherishing the real world. Imagine if we couldn’t record time, it would mean none of what I do would even be practicable. That’s why I love an Edox Watch as much as any other watch. Old meets the new and it is the imperfection of humans that drives this perfection we see all around us. I could go on and on about time and my excitement around these subjects and what they say about humanity but I choose to create art and say it visually.

The perfect art should be full of imperfections just like humanity is full of imperfections. The pursuit for me is to achieve this imperfection through the means of perfect code that produces perfect neural networks in the age of digital perfectionism. There’s actually no requirement for a tourbillon complication these days; and there isn’t really a requirement for a mechanical wrist watch either at present. Do you like all types of watch brands and don’t limit yourself to just the most costly ones. I am obsessed by mechanical and digital timepieces. Did you know that quartz watches nearly destroyed the Swish watch industry because they were so accurate? Quartz is what is used inside the computers I use to create art with my artificial adversarial networks. I’d wear quartz or a mechanical watch from Edox Watches if they produce either because it isn’t what influences my buying decisions.
