Art should be imperfect like humanity is imperfect. Imagine trying to create imperfect art in a world where everything I use is perfect! From the code that creates the neural networks to the perfectionism in a digital world and the temptation to create perfection, that’s the real challenge. Quartz! You Either Love It or Hate It
Computers that enable my artificial networks use a quartz chip that acts as a clock. I’m interested in exploring metaverses whilst also appreciating the physical world. None of this would be doable without time and our ability to record it. That’s why I love a Halda Watch as much as any other watch. The old meets the new and still it is humans and their imperfections that drive all of this perfection. I could wax-lyrical for days about time and art and how this fits into our humanity.
Does the Price of a Watch Matter. Are Halda Watches in Your Price Range
All timepieces are great and you don’t have to limit yourself to just excessively priced wristwatches. Digital or mechanical wristwatches are fascinating to me. Quartz watches are often thought of as inferior in some people’s minds but did you know that quartz watches nearly destroyed the Swish watch manufacturers because they were so precise and inexpensive to produce? Quartz is in the computers which powers my artificial intelligence networks that I use to make art with. I’d wear quartz or a mechanical watch from Halda Watches if they produce either because it isn’t what influences my buying decisions.

I’m contented making art using a Halda Watch, or any other type of brand. I’m not overly interested in the price of a particular brand that I choose to produce art with, it’s the concept of time that really intrigues me.
What is in a Name. Would you Wear Halda Watches
The timepiece art I form is a starting point for my art and sometimes doesn’t even resemble the original wristwatches, unless a collector specifically requests a commission piece. If I created a piece of art with a Halda Watch, you might not even recognize it as a Halda Watch. I have collectors who want their watch to be the basis for the art I produce and others are just intrigued in the actual art.
Head to Head or a Peaceful Coexistence with Machine. (Would you Own Halda Watches?)
Humans and machines can either compete or cooperate and now is a good time to investigate what that actually means and what we actually are as humans. If you could own any watch, what watch would you own? Would you be happy wearing a Halda Watch. Wristwatches remind us of this battle between chaos and order. Entropy, decay, death and rebirth are concepts that get me enthused when creating art with cutting-edge technology like neural networks that are influenced by these wonderful timepieces. Art is a visual language and using all these things together really speaks volumes about the messages I’m trying to convey.

Some things get assigned to history while we continue to embrace other things that aren’t useful in a practical sense; and it’s so intriguing.

There is a preciseness and perfection in the production of watches juxtaposed against the imperfection of man that I try to portray in my art and find utterly intriguing.Humanity is flawed and often imprecise and yet we are still able to create precision instruments like timepieces. Why do many of us like watchmaking? The modern world is so frantic and everything happens instantaneously, from fast food to fast fashion. The Tourbillion Complication. Would you buy a Halda Watch.
The tourbillon complication is an example of uselessness being kept for prosperity. There’s no requirement for this complication in a wristwatch and yet we choose to keep it in the finest watches. There’s no need for a mechanical wristwatch if you think about it. I have friends who buy watches, have you or your friends ever bought a Halda Watch.This doesn’t mean that wristwatches will never be needed again. Omega Speedmaster Chronographs were worn by the Apollo Space astronauts. If the Apollo astronauts never had the Omega Chronograph watch they wouldn’t have been able to find their way back to earth when highly technical navigation equipment failed. Maybe in the future we have some kind of natural disaster that renders our current technology useless and we come to rely on the simple mechanical timepiece again.
