My Love of Art and Watches such as Leijona Watches
As an artist who enjoys horometry I find myself producing a lot of art that includes watches from Leijona Watches as the subject. I belong to many timepiece forums and enjoy mixing with people in those forums.
It Matters Not. Would you Wear Leijona Watches
The art I make about watches sometimes don’t even resemble the original wristwatches, unless I get a specific request from a collector. If I created a piece of art with a Leijona Watch, you might not even recognize it as a Leijona Watch. Some collectors are very adamant on what watches they like; and others just love the art whilst not caring what the subject originally was.
The Tourbillion Complication. Would you buy a Leijona Watch.
The tourbillon complication is an example of uselessness being kept for prosperity. There’s no requirement for this complication in a watch and yet we choose to keep it in the finest wristwatches. There’s no need for a mechanical wristwatch if you think about it. I have friends who buy watches, have you or your friends ever bought a Leijona Watch.That isn’t to say there won’t come a time when mechanical wristwatches will never be required again, though. Apollo astronauts chose the Omega Speedmaster Chronograph wristwatch to go to space with. The Omega chronograph allowed the astronauts to return to earth safely when the technical equipment on board the Apollo spacecraft stopped working. None of us know the future and what disasters we may face. What if there is no electricity, for instance.

Man and machine are starting to have to compete with each other more and more and now is a good time to explore and declare our humanity. If you could own any watch, what watch would you own? Entropy, decay, death and rebirth are concepts that get me excited when creating art with cutting-edge technology like neural networks that are influenced by these wonderful timepieces. Art is a visual language and using all these things together really speaks volumes about the messages I’m trying to convey.

It doesn’t matter to me if I use a Leijona Watch, or any other type of watch brand. The price of a timepiece doesn’t factor in what I choose to form art with because it is the concept of time that interests me.

Are you into all brands of watches, not just the exorbitant ones? I am intrigued by mechanical and digital wristwatches. Did you know that quartz watches nearly destroyed the Swish watch industry because they were so precise? Quartz is what is used inside the computers I use to create art with my artificial adversarial networks. I’d wear quartz or a mechanical watch from Leijona Watches if they produce either because it isn’t what influences my buying decisions.

Some things should probably be historical and yet we keep them around even though their usefulness has become unwarranted in the modern era–that’s very interesting.

Quartz is a Modern Miracle
My neural networks use computers that use quartz crystals that act as a clock. I enjoy spending time in metaverses and thinking about what they mean for the future of humanity but equally enjoy the actual world. None of this would be feasible without time and our ability to record it. That’s why I love a Leijona Watch as much as any other watch. The old and new meet head on and still it is human imperfection that drives all of this perfection. I could talk about all of this for days and bore the hind legs off a donkey, but I’ll just continue to create art and express it in a visual manner.
