NFTs Non-fungible Tokens

What is an NFT?

A non-fungible token is a unit of data stored on a digital ledger, called a blockchain, that certifies a digital asset to be unique and therefore not interchangeable. NFTs can be used to represent items such as photos, videos, audio, and other types of digital files.

Is there an NFT Standard?

NFTs are created on many different blockchains and therefore there is no agreed upon standard at present.

Why do we mint our NFTs after purchase?

We own the copyright for all of the artworks listed on our website. When a collector purchases an NFT they like to store it on their blockchain wallet of choice and sometimes they trade it on their platform of choice.

We feel it is exclusionary to choose one blockchain over another and limits the collector’s choice. When you buy our original artwork you receive an original signed artwork in the physical realm and we will discuss with you which blockchain you prefer for collecting.

When we know which is your preferred NFT Blockchain we’ll mint the original copyrighted artwork and transfer ownership to you in the metaverse.

What if you only want the NFT and not the physical artwork?

That’s absolutely fine, if this is your choice then a physical artwork is never produced and you will only receive the NFT.

What if you only want the physical artwork and not the NFT?

That’s absolutely fine too! We’ll ship the physical signed artwork and never mint an NFT.

Why do some people prefer NFT?

When you collect a lot of artwork there are logistical considerations for storage, transport, etc. The NFT collectors live in a metaverse and some see no reason to have to deal with a physical piece of art. In our experience it is best to let the collector decide what they want, so we give you the choice of both physical plus NFT, or whichever one you feel more comfortable owning.

Image size and quality

The images that you see on our website are smaller than the original and optimized for fast loading. When you purchase the artwork we give you access to the full sized images that haven’t been optimized.

We have one foot in the metaverse and one foot in the physical world – this is the way!
