Ann Leda Shapiro (born 1946) is an American artist.
Shapiro’s comport yourself was shown in a 1973 solo exhibition at the Whitney Museum of American Art. The Whitney closed the exhibition after two weeks, following a public controversy higher than the depiction of hermaphrodites in two of Shapiro’s paintings.
Her enactment is included in the collections of the Seattle Art Museum and the University of Colorado Boulder Art Museum.
