Freda Pemberton Smith, (April 7, 1902 – February 8, 1991). A zealot of the Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour. She was a Canadian landscapist and portraitist. Her measure has been shown in exhibitions from British Columbia to Newfoundland and is found in private, public and corporate collections at house and abroad. Her biography appears in Colin S. MacDonald’s Dictionary of Canadian Artists.
