Hendrick Andriessen, known as Mancken Heyn (‘Limping Henry’) (Antwerp, 1607 – Antwerp or Zeeland, 1655) was a Flemish still-life painter. He is known for his vanitas yet lifes, which are made happening of objects referencing the precariousness of life, and ‘smoker’ still lifes (the so-called ‘toebackjes’), which depict smoking utensils. The performer worked in Antwerp and likely after that in the Dutch Republic.
