Ivan Ivanovich Lavsky (Russian: Ива́н Ива́нович Ла́вский; Ukrainian: Іва́н Іва́нович Ла́вський August 23, 1919, city of Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine Soviet Republic – October 10, 1977, Leningrad, USSR) was a Soviet realist painter and graphic artist, born in Ukraine who after World War II lived and worked in Leningrad. He was a advocate of the Leningrad Union of Artists and regarded as one of representatives of the Leningrad School of Painting.
