8 facts about Leonid Tkachenko

Leonid Ivanovich Tkachenko (Russian: Леонид Иванович Ткаченко; born 1 October 1953 in Staryi Krym, Crimea) is a former Soviet artist and the Ukrainian-Russian coach.

Tkachenko spent most of his career playing for FC Metallist Kharkiv, leading the club to marketing from the Soviet First League to the Soviet Top League in 1981.

Together similar to Mykola Pavlov served as an substitute coach for Ukrainian national football team following it traveled to Belarus for a friendly against the Belarusian national football team. Him and Pavlov were partner coaches to Viktor Prokopenko previously that. Sometime in 2000 he relocated to the Russian Federation and obtained the Russian citizenship.
