Who is Nick Fudge?

Nick Fudge (aka Nicholas Fudge, born 12 August 1961) is a British painter, sculptor, and digital artist.

Fudge studied at Goldsmiths College, London, as a zealot of the YBA (Young British Artists) generation along in imitation of Damien Hirst, Sarah Lucas, Liam Gillick, Gary Hume, and Michael Landy. At the time, his tutors Michael Craig-Martin and Jon Thompson standard Fudge to achieve comparable ability when, just since his graduate show, he destroyed everything his artwork and disappeared from the international art world for higher than twenty-five years. In a 2016 financial credit commemorating his return to the art world, The Times arts correspondent Jack Malvern dubbed Fudge “The Lost YBA”.
