Pietro Annigoni (7 June 1910 – 28 October 1988) was an Italian artist, portrait and fresco painter, best known for his portraits of Queen Elizabeth II, and a medallist. His comport yourself was in the Renaissance tradition, contrasting subsequent to the modernist style that prevailed in his time.
