Who is Robert E. Wood?

Robert Elkington Wood (June 13, 1879 – November 6, 1969) was an American military manager and situation executive. After retiring from the U.S. Army as a brigadier general, Wood had a well-to-do career as a corporate executive, most notably in imitation of Sears, Roebuck and Company. A Republican, Wood was a leader in the Old Right American Conservatism hobby from the 1920s through the 1960s as capably as a key financial backer of the America First Committee prior to the United States’ entry into World War II.
