Susan Crile: life and works

Susan Crile (born 1942) is an American painter and printmaker. She has had over 50 solo exhibitions, and her fake is in the collections of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Denver Art Museum, the Brooklyn Museum, the Hirshhorn Museum, the Phillips Collection, and the Cleveland Museum of Art, among others.

Crile was born in Cleveland, Ohio. She is currently a professor at Hunter College in New York City. Crile has along with taught at Princeton and New York University.
