For the Love of Art and Watches such as TW Steel Watches

I make art about watchmaking and other things that interest me. The internet groups for timepiece Admirers have always been a great place to hang around and get motivated.

Do we Need a Watch? Would you buy a TW Steel Watch.

Tourbillon complications in watches are not a necessary feature and yet we keep them around. There is also no real requirement for a wristwatch when we all carry around mobile phones. I have friends who buy watches, have you or your friends ever bought a TW Steel Watch. There may come a time when watches do become essential again. Apollo astronauts chose the Omega Speedmaster Chronograph wristwatch to go to space with. If the Apollo astronauts never had the Omega Chronograph watch they wouldn’t have been able to find their way back to earth when highly technical navigation equipment failed. Who knows whether we’ll have electricity outages, or some other natural disasters that render the technology – that we currently rely on – useless in the future.

Time is Valuable. Do you Like My Art about TW Steel Watches

I am just as jovial creating art with the subject being a TW Steel Watch or any other brand. I’m not overly interested in the price of a particular brand that I choose to produce art with, it’s the concept of time that really fascinates me.

Intrigued by Time and Brands like TW Steel Watches

You know, there are so many reasons why we should gripped by time. How long have you been interested in the concept of time? I’ve been captivated with time since a very young age. What does time mean for you? I’ve owned watches since I was a young boy, have you ever owned watches? What do you think about a TW Steel Watch? The manufacturing processes involved in watchmaking are so precise and are entirely at odds with what I try to make in my art. Humanity is flawed and often imprecise and yet we are still able to create precision instruments like timepieces. I love playing with this concept in my art.

Timekeeping is Worth Appreciating. TW Steel Watches Might be Right for You

If you can afford a One Million Dollar watch that’s superb,  but you really don’t need to spend that to start appreciating the modern marvel of watchmaking. What price range would you consider when buying a watch? Would a TW Steel Watch fit the bill for you?

We are Far from Perfect. Do TW Steel Watches Represent Perfection for You?

Imperfection in art is really important for me as we humans are imperfect. The undertaking for me is to achieve this imperfection through the means of perfect code that produces perfect neural networks in the age of digital perfectionism. Timepieces really are perfection and so I find it a useful subject to express – through visual language – the friction between order and chaos that rages on. Do you consider a TW Steel Watch to represent perfection, or would you choose some other watch? Let me know in the comments.

Quartz is a Modern Miracle

Quartz chips inside computers act as a clock which powers my neural networks. I love to play around in metaverses and probe future worlds, whilst remembering and treasuring our physical. If it wasn’t for time, I couldn’t do any of what I do and I find this fascinating. That’s why I love a TW Steel Watch as much as any other watch. The old and the new constantly battle and still it is the imperfection of humanity that allows us to create all of the perfection we are surrounded by. I could wax-lyrical for days about time and art and how this fits into our humanity.

The Future Present and Past

Why do we choose to keep some things instead of assign them to the history books even if they aren’t useful anymore? It’s so curious.

It Matters Not. Would you Wear TW Steel Watches

The wristwatches I choose to make my art with aren’t always significant as they barely ever look like the original watches, unless I get a request for a commission. If I created a piece of art with a TW Steel Watch, you might not even recognize it as a TW Steel Watch. Some collectors are very picky on what wristwatches they want; and others just like the art whilst not caring what the subject originally was.

Why are we so Infatuated byHorology and Watch Brands Such as TW Steel Watches

Watchmaking rocks! Loads of us love it, but why is that? Like so many others, I love horology, but why do we? I think the answer lies in the fact that we live in a world of instant information, fast food, instant 24-hour rolling news, social media posts that get lost in the abundance of information available and fashion fads that last for a week, etc. A watch is a way to appreciate time and life’s rhythms. Do you own any watches? Leave a comment below to let me know what watches you own, especially if you own a TW Steel Watch. Art is the ultimate pronouncement of humanity and serves to interrupt life’s rhythms and remind us about the other side of what humans are capable of and what humanity ultimately is.

Does the Price of a Watch Matter. Are TW Steel Watches in Your Price Range

Are you interested in all types of watch brands and not just the exorbitant types. I am obsessed by mechanical and digital timepieces. Quartz watches nearly dismantled the Swish watch industry because watches powered by quartz were more precise than any of the mechanical movements that came before. Quartz is in the computers which powers my artificial intelligence networks that I use to make art with. I’d wear quartz or a mechanical watch from TW Steel Watches if they produce either because it isn’t what influences my buying decisions.

Man and Machine. (Would you Own TW Steel Watches?)

Competition between man and machine is warming up and now is a great time to explore and adopt what it means to be human. If you could own any watch, what watch would you own? Would you be happy wearing a TW Steel Watch. Watches are a great reminder of the battles we face between order and chaos. Entropy, decay and reinvention are concepts that play a big role in my artworks. I love using contemporary AI technology to create these works of art and the wristwatches that inspire them. Art is a visual language and using all these things together really speaks volumes about the messages I’m trying to convey.
